I've had this idea for awhile and I finally set it up for Littlemiss and BooBoo to enjoy together. It was a big hit! I taped paper down on the concrete slab in our backyard and plopped chocolate pudding in the middle of it. Specifically two large boxes worth of pudding. I chose pudding because BooBoo could participate without me worrying about him eating dirt AND it only adds to the sensory fun for Littlemiss! I set up a few of their toy trucks to go mudding!
Littlemiss was much more interested in rubbing the chocolate pudding ALL OVER herself! Not surprising to me at all :)
BooBoo loved tasting it! His first sugar experience. No worries, I don't think feeding a baby pudding is good, but if he took a little taste of it I'm ok with that :)
COVERED! And happy :)
The chocolate pudding destruction...
Chocolate pudding foot prints :)
Off to the side I had a car wash set up to clean off the toy trucks.
Littlemiss especially LOVED this play experience!

So creative and fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you! They had a blast, which is what is most important.
DeleteOh, what fun! My son would have a blast with this - the mudding and the cleanup. Thanks for sharing at the Sunday Showcase :)
ReplyDeleteWe needed to add some "boyish" activities for BooBoo! He's surrounded by princesses and tea parties.
