Frozen Flowers

I've seen freezing toys/items in large containers for toddlers to excavate all over Pinterest. I had to give this popular idea a try. Littlemiss and I went on a nature walk the day before and she collected items to be frozen. The other two containers contained fake flowers. I only froze these overnight, so they didn't freeze completely, which ended up working well. They were easy to smash, which was fun for Littlemiss. She smashed, hammer, chipped, stomped, chewed, and watered the flowers out of the giant ice cubes. She stayed engaged for an entire hour! It was awesome!

BooBoo liked to put his hands on the cold ice.

Eating the tools.

Littlemiss taking a picture of me taking a picture of her :) And our sweet dog, Wrigley.

    1. It's a great extension to a nature walk. I love that nature provides a great variety of textures, colors, shapes to explore with, and it's FREE!
