BooBoo's Sandals

I love baby shoes. I confess I own 5 baby shoe sewing patterns...yikes! Unfortunately it is one of those sewing projects that falls to the bottom of my to-do list. BooBoo had a pair of sweet Janie and Jack sandals, but I lost one of them. So, I made a new pair. I used the Baby Boy Sandal tutorial from Ashley at Make It and Love It. She has some ridiculously cute baby girl sandals too! I got the faux leather to make these little shoes from good ole Hobby Lobby for around $3. So they are incredibly affordable.

  1. So cute! Noticed that you didn't sew the strap holes. It's okay not to do that right? Cause I'm horrible with tiny precise stitches and the first demo I made came out all frazzled looking!

    1. No, I didn't sew around the strap holes, like in the tutorial. I skipped it because it's so tedious and the faux leather I used doesn't fray. Too bad your demo turned out frazzled! Maybe try again with a non-fraying fabric or take the time to sew them.
