Funky Jingle Ball

One of my favorite baby toys to make is the jingle ball. I've made it for a ton of baby gifts and I always get great feedback on how much play it gets. I followed the pattern at Grand Revival Designs on the sidebar under "free patterns," which I originally found out about at the Homemade By Jill blog. I add a bell on the inside so they jingle. I finally made 3 for BooBoo to enjoy. I raided my fabric closet and grabbed a variety of bright fabrics and some different textures (minky, repurposed towels, denim, & cordouroy). I added cut up material, pom pom trim, and ribbon to the different balls for BooBoo to grab onto.

Silly boy likes to carry things around in his mouth :)

  2. I used to make fleece balls for baby gifts all the time. I never thought to add the teething parts. Thanks so much for linking up at One Creative Weekend!

    1. I always have an abundance of leftover trim and ribbon, so it's a great way to use them :)

  3. Hooray for jingle balls made by Kat! I have made a ton too, but mine are never as perfectly round as the one you made for Madeleine! These new ones for your little one look wonderful.
