6 Months is already coming to an end and BooBoo's almost 7 months old. At 6 months he was weighing in at around 19 pounds. As far as eating and sleeping is concerned, he continues to wake up at least twice a night to eat and cuddle. This is getting exhausting, so I'm going to try switching up his daytime sleep schedule a bit and feed him before I go to sleep at night. His pacifier is attached to him always. I'm starting to only give it to him when he's going to sleep. He's started eating rice cereal and pureed apples around 6 months and he is diving into solids well. He's an excited eater and hangs out with his mouth wide open in between bites like a little bird. He often cries while nursing because he can't get satisfied fast enough. Littlemiss did this as well.
BooBoo's personality is shining now. Words that describe him are: smiley, chubby, cuddly, avid-eater, fussy-eater, fuzzy-headed, dimple-cheeked, chuckly, content, relaxed, sweet, momma's boy. When he's excited he kicks his legs and makes high-pitched squeaky sounds. He is a complete joy. His happy, contented disposition makes serving him very rewarding.
He has started interacting more with his toys and rolls all over the place. His favorite person (besides Mommy) is Littlemiss. When he sees her he can't help smiling at her. I have to keep the canopy on his car seat down all the time so he can watch her while we drive places. He has begun to cry when I leave the room if he is really tired or hungry. The other night he cried in Clay's arms when I left the room, but as soon as I picked him back up he stopped crying. I think he will struggle with separation from his Momma.
Every baby on Clay's mom's side of the family has a naked 6 month baby picture. We had fun taking pics of BooBoo. We took a lot outside and he would lay his head down because he was so relaxed in the warmth of outside. Check out the sweet, happy little babe below:
