Tot School/Learning Center Setup: Flower Fun

Littlemiss is currently 34 months. I'm starting to do monthly themes for most of our activities. This past month's theme was flowers, and the month before that a farm theme. The current month we are having fun with ocean-type activities. Below are the Tot Trays for the month. I plan on rotating out most of the activities weekly in this area in the future.

Looking at real flowers.

Arranging flowers in a strainer.

Tweezing flowers and patterning.

Matching numbers to the correct amount.

Painted egg carton flowers. I first cut a part the egg carton and we painted them. Then, after they were dry, we poked a hole in the bottom and fed a pipe cleaner through and curled it so it would stay. Then I put some hot glue in the bottom and Littlemiss placed a pom pom in the middle.

BooBoo's mini-learning area:
From left to right: Treasure basket with wooden theme (sorry I can't find the pic of the items), books, Noah's ark, fabric scrap wipes container, flower sensory bottle (link below with picture), funky jingle balls, and wooden truck.

This is what BooBoo really likes to do :)
