Tiny Scholar

BooBoo is already 3 months old! His corrected age, since he was born 4.5 weeks premature, is 2 months old developmentally. He's doing quite well developmentally, I am just giving him a month longer to reach those milestones. He has started smiling much more these days and is holding his head up well. As far as sleeping goes, he has done one 7 hour stretch at night and that was on Friday! It was such a gift since the three nights before he was up multiple times throughout the night. It has actually been a restful weekend.

I couldn't be happier with the chubby, healthy little man. He's such a content and happy guy. He's weighing in at 16 pounds and has jumped quickly into 6-12 month clothes. He's roughly the size of the average 9 month old baby. He outgrew most of his clothes overnight. I quickly needed to get him more clothes, so I sewed two pairs of pants and appliqued some onesies. It was my 3 month birthday gift to him :)

The two pictures almost look like two different babies. He was extra happy in the second picture :)

His animal/polka dot quick change trousers, made from Anna Horners "Handmade Beginnings" book found here. They are so fun and reversible. So, I made 2 pairs of pants, but it's like I made 4 pairs!

This bowtie onesie is by far my FAVORITE! He looks like a tiny scholar....love it!
All he needs is a pair of glasses. Love them red hairs too.

The bum-side of the pants. There is a panel of the opposite fabric on the bum.

Almost too big to hold.
Oh, she loves him :)

Holding his head up well. Just working on his neck/head control.

Love them rolls :)
